The ISN mentor program is for all foreign students who are coming to study at Leiden University. It can make your time in The Netherlands more pleasant and fun!!! Through the mentor program, foreign students can meet Dutch students and learn more about the local culture, the great dutch student life and the do-s and dont-s of Leiden! Room available from 1 of march. The room is fully furnished ( bed, closet, desk, chair, fridge, cable for tv etc.) around 14 m2. The price is 345 euro a month including internet, water, gas and electricity. There is also a place to put your bikes inside the building. The room is in a nice apartment with renovated fully equipped kitchen-dinner (washing machine, dish washer, fridge, oven). You have to share the toilet, bathroom and kitchen with 3 other students between 25 and 30 years old. The apartment is only 5 min. biking from the station and the university. I am subletting my part of the 80 square meter house (only one more person-male, University student- to share it with) Features: Ground floor (shared-with the one person-facilities): huge living room (with piano, food table, coffee table, flat screen TV, DVD player, carpets, big sofa), fully equipped kitchen (4 stoves, oven, big fridge with refrigerator, lots of cupboards), yard (with table, chairs, barbeque), laundry room (incl. washing machine and extra storing space) and toilet (with washbasin). First Floor: spacious bathroom (with bath tub, shower washbasin and lots of space for towels), two bedrooms. My room (17 sq.m.) is fully and newly furnished (double bed, big closet, desk, bed-armchair, shelves, small attic used as storing space), with two windows viewing the front side of the house. There is also space for a car next opposite of the house (but not private). The house is in a walking distance of a park with playground. Distance from center of the city with bike: 6 minutes, from Leiden University: 12. Close also to super-market (500 meters to Albert Heijn), bakery (100 meters) and pharmacy (300 meters)! rent:500eu/month, availability: till end of March
